  1. The quintet is based on an ancient Sephardic melody. The title refers to one of the 10 attributes or Sephirot of the GODHEAD.
    Sephira, in its original form, was premiered at the Art Unit Glebe NSW in 1985. The clarinet soloist was Nigel Westlake.
